New Service Schedule!
Starting Easter Sunday, April 24, Evangel is excited to start a new service schedule.
At 9:00 AM we will hold a service that blends the best of both the Classic and Bridge services.
At 10:30 & 11:45 AM we will hold back-to-back Current services.
Missionary Report
Troy and Heidi Darrin will be visiting Evangel on Sunday March, 20.
Troy and Heidi are missionaries in Moldova — Europe’s poorest country. After years of being a closed country, Moldova is now open to the gospel. Believers meet freely and without fear, committed young pastors are ready to be trained, and the church is experiencing new growth. Through leadership training, church planting efforts, MAPS construction teams, and Convoy of Hope outreaches, their goal is to reach Moldova for Christ. Now is the time for . . . The Moldova Mission!

Easter Splash ~ Water Baptism
On Easter Sunday, April 24, we will be celebrating God’s life-transforming power in the lives of many in our congregation through water baptism. If you would like to follow the Lord in baptism on that day, please sign-up at the Information Center or online at www.goevangel.org/forms.
If you plan to be baptized, you will need to either attend a Water Baptism Orientation Live on Sunday, April 17, or complete the orientation online. Please indicate which orientation you will attend when you sign-up.

Candy Donations
All Stars Kid’s Ministry is asking for candy donations (individually wrapped packages) for EasterRAMA. Please drop off your donations at the collection area across from the North Room.
Starting Point ~ Coffee Talk
Are you new to Evangel? If so, here’s your Starting Point. Join us at Coffee Talk, an informal 3-week
session, and learn more about Evangel in a relaxed setting. Coffee Talk begins Wednesday, April 13, from 6:45-7:50 PM at Boneshaker Coffee Company. Please sign-up at the Information Center or online at www.goevangel.org/forms.
Fire Bibles
During the month of April, we are partnering with Light For The Lost in making Fire Bibles in different languages of the world. A Fire Bible is a Pentecostal study Bible complete with commentary, concordance, study notes, articles, and maps. A gift of $10 will provide one Fire Bible for a believer in another part of the world. Evangel’s goal is to give $25,000 towards this need. Please designate the amount you want to give on your offering envelope.

9:00 AM – The Crossing – (The Classic/The Bridge blended service)
10:30 AM – The Current
11:45 AM -The Current
Children’s ministries activities will be provided for ALL three services.
Volunteer Opportunities for You
This service format will offer many opportunities for you to join our “attend one, serve one” collection of people who volunteer on Sunday mornings at Evangel. We have opportunities to serve with children (nursery, preschool, and elementary age), greeting, hospitality, catering, Welcome Center, Information Center, and set-up or tear-down for The Current service. Please indicate your interest at the Information Center or online at www.goevangel.org; click on Get Connected.
PrimeTime Dinner
For Those “55 and Better”
Our PrimeTime Dinner at Evangel, on April 14 at 6:30 PM, is for those “55 and Better.” The menu is stuffed pork chops, loaded sweet potato, California blend veggies, homemade bread, cheesecake, and coffee. We will enjoy music and testimony by Michael Land. Sign-up and pay at the Information Center on Sunday or in the church office during the week. The cost is $9.00, or $10 after Sunday, April 10. The sign-up deadline is Tuesday, April 12.
Argentina Mission’s Story
April 18 at 7:00 PM
We invite you to come and hear the Argentina Mission’s Story on Monday, April 18, at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The mission’s team that traveled to Argentina in February is excited to share pictures and stories about their mission’s trip and how God worked in each of their lives. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear how God uses ordinary people to make a difference in people’s lives around the world.
Fine Arts Dessert Theatre
The Fine Arts Dessert Theatre will be Sunday, April 10, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at The Element; admission is free. The Fine Arts Dessert Theatre will feature students performing the talents that God has given them. Come for an afternoon of great comedy, drama, and dessert!
Facility Expansion
Facility expansion plans were discussed at our recent Annual Meeting. The Church Board is presently
assimilating additional ideas from those present at the meeting. For members who were not at the meeting, you may request a copy of the proposed expansion by calling the church at 255-0500. As progress is made, additional information will be communicated to the membership. If you have further questions, the church office can direct you to one of our Church Board members.
