Men’s Conference 2012
Register Today at the Information Center
All men are invited to the Men’s Conference, “Forging Ahead” on February 24-25 at Evangel. God’s plan is for us to “Forge Ahead,” and God’s promise to you is more than you can imagine. Speaker David Boyd will be God’s messenger of a new way for you to live according to God’s plan. Register and pay at the Information Center today or online at www.goevangel.org/forms. Adult tickets are $32; student tickets are $16. The registration deadline is Tuesday, February 21. There is a $10 late fee after this date.
Used Library Resources
Available Today for a Free-Will Donation
It is time to purge some of our books and videos in our church library that are duplicates or older materials. If you are interested in these resources, stop by the Library today. These resources are available for a free-will donation during all three services.
Men’s Lunch at BSC
Men’ Lunch will not be meeting at BSC tomorrow due to Presidents’ Day holiday.
GriefShare
Begins Thursday, March 1
Have you experienced the loss of a relative or a friend through death? Whether it has been six months or five years, if you are still hurting, GriefShare is a
great place to find hope and healing. GriefShare is a 13-week group that begins on Thursday, March 1, from 6:30-8:30 PM in the North Room. There is a $15 participation fee. Please sign up and pay online at www.goevangel.org/forms or at the Information Center.
Starting Point
Begins Sunday, March 4
If you are new to Evangel or you have attended Evangel for awhile but haven’t made a connection yet, then Starting Point is for you. Starting Point is a 6-week session that begins on Sunday, March 4, at 11:30 AM in the North Room. If you plan to attend, please sign up online at www.goevangel.org/forms or at the Information Center.
Choir for Special Events
The choir will be starting rehearsals for the performances on the evening of Good Friday and Easter Sunday in The Crossing service. The first rehearsal is Sunday, February 26, from 3:00-5:00 PM in the Sanctuary. If you would like to sing in the choir for these special events, please come to this rehearsal. Rehearsals will continue weekly on Sunday afternoons through April 1.

Catering Team
Help prepare and serve coffee and treats for The Current service. This time commitment varies depending on the service you serve.
Set Up or Tear Down Team
Set up is a 20 minute commitment before the 10:30 AM service. Tear down is a 20 minute commitment after the 11:45 AM service.
New Sunday Service Times
Our service times will be adjusted on Sunday, March 4, to allow time for prayer ministry and a response time after the message.

SURGE Retreat – March 23-25
The Surge Retreat is an exciting weekend at Lakewood Park Bible Camp for kids in grades 3-5. The cost is $50 which includes food, lodging, and transportation. The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 14. After that date, there is a $15 late fee. Register and pay online at www.goevangel.org/kids or pick up a brochure at the Information Center.
Easter Splash
Water Baptism ~ April 8
If you would like to follow the Lord in baptism on Easter Sunday, April 8, please sign up and complete the three-part Water Baptism Orientation online at www.goevangel.org/forms. Water baptisms will take place in all three services. If you have questions, please call the church office at 255-0500.
Sunshine Pals Needed
Help us reach 10 children in our community!
Sunshine Pals, our special needs ministry, is growing, and we want to reach more kids in our community. Our goal is to be able to reach 10 more families and show them the love of Christ. If you have a heart for special needs and would like to mentor a child on a weekly basis, please contact the Sunshine Pals team at sunshinepals@goevangel.org.
